@mindaflame7 Thumbs. It's how the song (still being good itself) is played not how hard it is. I'd still say that I felt something in my heart from Rhoads even though it was too fast but it's the bluesier the better.

this music is emotional and awesome. Just listening to it changes my mood. The real blues guys like Albert king, James Cotton, BB King. They can put more emotion into their music than anybody.

Well, you guys pretty much covered it. I just have to add that if no blues, no "Over the Mountain." Those first recorded blues artists pulled along a pattern followed by almost every popular artist to follow, all the way to today. Crazy stage antics were done by Charlie Patton decades before Hendrix (e.g. between the legs, behind the back playing)
